Do University Ecosystems Impact Student’s Entrepreneurial Behavior?

The goal of this study is to propose a conceptual model for assessing the impact entrepreneurship supportive university ecosystems (ESUE) on student’s related behavioral characteristics: entrepreneurial intention (EI) and characteristics (EC). empirical research used partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) sample 1,012 observations. Findings indicate that an ESUE has positive influence EI. However, effect mostly perceived changing EC than direct stimulation becoming entrepreneurs. Moreover, EI also influenced by greater ecosystem in which universities are embedded. Evidences hint at possibility university’s push insufficient. University and/or public managers stand benefit from our findings reassessing their current arrangements fostering student designing new, more efficient mechanisms. literature presents myriad localized assessments small countries, whereas provides rough nation-wide overview continent-sized nation, thus contributing testing against different contexts.
